Also, with this having GL I can't help but wonder is it the saint being with the girls or the 2 students being with each other.

Thank you for the chapter, this is lit, I was honestly expecting the lesser dragon to turn into a humanoid form at some point as well judging from how things were progressing. Her name is Tia... Person her title is High Priestess Person...
Loving these series so far Emilie was fully willing to step up and buy her waifu time to get away from danger that just appeared, that is peak just gals being pals in a fantasy setting behavior. I'm guessing part of why they are considered failures is because they are considered highly dangerous and can do more then just those 3 spells... Angeline is also mysterious my guess like someone mentioned earlier she is also part of the nation's royal family or she has a rather unusual lineage as well.
Tia had some unusual eyes for a moment there as well.
Though my big question is regarding Tia's initial student considering she's traveling with this very powerful and controversial figure she's obviously not going to be baseline normal either.

So far I'm not terribly hooked on this adaptation. There's a sharpness to it that feels too busy and it contrasts heavily with the appearance of the source material. I do like Miss Fang's design but the first chapter doesn't feel like it breathes enough for me to feel for the pace. It's girl's love but is it a fighting series or a world building series like Magirevo.
