Yes, mr. Sage. It exists. Blame the author.
Guessing that there's some reason that they haven't told us yet because they said that there has never been a circumstance in which a sage has stayed behind.i don't see any reason whatsoever why he couldn't stay. just have him stay outside with his harem after one of the becomes the goddess or something.
FR tho she knows exactly how sexy she isI'd hit the bartender
Drinking age and "sexy times" age are different in many countries, Japan included. There, legal age for sex is a bit muddy, but I think it's around the usual 18; drinking age, however it's at 20-21 if I remember. So if the Mc is between 18 and 20, and I think he was around that, it's not that strange.Feeling guilty about drinking seems like a pretty strange reason in this context. This manga itself is only for a mature audience, considering it's full of sex, so this wouldn't encourage children to drink. The dude himself is currently in an alien universe boning women left and right, so what would a glass of wine be in comparison, morally? Japan itself has a heavy drinking culture and there are whole manga series about booze and drinking every night. Not to mention alcohol industry in Japan is old and thriving. I'd have expected, if he doesn't want to drink, that it would be for another reason, like a simple principle or past bad experience (personal or having witnessed too much alcoholism). There must be some Japanese cultural, if not legal, detail here that I'm just utterly ignorant of.
It's exaggerated, but people weak to alcohol can be VERY sensitive to it. I don't drink regularly, or even occasionally, myself and now a single beer can affect me if drank too quickly.I wonder sometimes, have any mangaka ever had any alcohol?
Like surely they have, yet they keep employing this trope where someone takes one sip and is instantly woozy. They alcohol hasn't even begun to enter the bloodstream...
