I felt the conversation with the goddess was too cryptic. Maybe I'm dumb or the language barrier is doing something for me here since english is not my first language. It felt like she was trying to really give out some secrets of the rituals but it was lost in translation.
I also don't know how to feel about the baby making thing, since the MC himself wasn't allowed to feel "chivalric" or "responsible" in a previous chapter by the goddess herself. All this time I've been imagining the dude actually impregnating someone and not be let to even see the child or something like that in future chapters.
