I'm tired of this shit where the damsel character makes every effort to not be saved. After everything she said this chapter, I pretty much prefer the MC just leave her alone.

Tsundere is (one of) the most universally recognized type of woman on the planet. There are entire industries built around the worldwide (somehow acceptable) view that most women will refuse to say what they want, then get mad when they don't get what they really wanted, then go get something different because THAT will make them feel better. Weddings, jewelry, shoes, vacations, sweets, clothes, cars, houses, hell there's even guns that are purpose designed and built for "the woman who says she knows what she wants, but secretly has no idea what she wants, until she knows what she wants, and it wasn't that thing that she said she wanted in the first place."
