Maaan that timeskip is terrible, not that this series had good character growth or anything but you need his growth specially as MC is a literal mishmash of 2 people.

On that note I forgot he was only 7 at the start, I thought he was also 12 like the loli teacher...... Now at 12 he looks almost 18 though
