@moonlight00 You're just too edgy. Relax. He doesn't need to kill a kid who wouldn't be able to kill him even if he wants her to. Like, the difference between the two are like Mike Tyson against a toddler. Besides, the kid is genuinely begging him to take her because...what will a child who lived all her life as a slave do? She'll probably become a slave again or worse killed trying to survive. There's also the fact that travelling with someone, even a kid (especially someone moderately competent like her), will be more convenient than not.

@adfjs edgy? i don't think i was aiming for that, but i sure was frustrated.
i don't quite remember the whole thing tho, but i think that i wasn't being very specific about the girl and more talking about the plot in general and how everything came together.
not sure tho, and i ain't reading it a second time so i can feel that frustrated again.
i do agree with the relax part tho, i did eventually.

@moonlight00 If you're talking about how he interacts with the world, you can just chalk it up with the mentality that it's not always the wisest thing to fight fire with fire. The gossips and quips of other people won't hurt him physically and they're pretty insignificant for him. If he did "demand respect" on some people, the only thing he'll get is at best a country where he's a wanted man or at worst, the gallows. When it comes to people who do physically tried to harm him, it would also depend on the circumstances just like how it is with Latifa. The MC isn't the type who is afraid of killing and would turn people into paste on the road but he's not really stupid.
