So it's the seagull but poorly adapted, or rather the seagull but focusing on the romance instead of the metacommentary of authorial authority

what is "the seagull"?
Classic theater play by chekov, it's about two writers and a girl who loves one and is loved by the other. It's a bit of a drag as a story but is made more interesting as a self reflective piece by the author.

I don't really understand what's going on anymore, to be honest. It seems cryptic... Or maybe I'm just dumb.
Either way, I've put off reading the last two chapters until now. It reminds me a lot of how I felt when I first read the series. It's not a bad feeling, I guess. Pretty heart-wrenching, though.
Though, I guess in a way I could interpret this as 'What if everything didn't actually happen? What if Sakura never actually came back?' The mangaka did say he wanted to expand more on Kurahashi and how he felt about Makoto. Is this it? That the whole time it was just Kurahashi that was 'left behind' while Makoto found Miiko?
I can't recognize the plot of land on the last page. I wonder if it's Sakura's house...

Either way, not the best series. But far from the worst. I realize that after rereading it, a lot of things kind of don't make sense and some of these characters did a lot of stupid and irrational things that could've been easily solved, but... It was still a ride I'll remember. The feeling was more important than anything else, for me at least. Thank you, Midori no Ruupe, you bastard. I'll remember this. I'll really remember this!!!
... Hope he makes another manga like this. I might actually start crying because of this kusomanga. Or at least, be really sad and melancholic about it.
