Kurahashi didn't believe that she time slipped? Bro is a normie unlike Toba so it'll probably hard to convince him.
I'm actually really confused why he didn't believe her. She literally is entirely unchanged, physically, throughout 16 years. And her disappearance was sufficiently mysterious.
I can understand doubting her, but outright assuming it was a joke is odd. Bro didn't even ask if she could prove it in any way, or think that it might be an analogy of something, such as referring to her body, or her obvious "gaps in memory" that suggest amnesia.

It's probably because he is choosing to refuse her himself. He does not want to believe it, most likely because him and Toba have waited 16 years. The amount of thinking, pain, etc. that happened between those 16 years probably did something to both of them. As Lorenzio Ortega said on mangakakalot, "Kurahashi doesnt want all the pain and suffering he and Toba went through to be reduced to some mysterious "time slip" bullshit. He wants, needs, a reason for her disappearance. Something substantial, something he can accept. For all that to have been done by some cruel act of God or something, that'd fuck him up even more."

She's starting to become even more broken. That sweet moment is now turned sour by wounds, and I don't think there's a chance of changing it now. I hope Sakura does change, though... I don't want her to be alone, despite... well... her 'selfishness'.
She's still a teenager. She's making a lot of mistakes now. She still has a lot of the rest of her life to look after. And yet, I see no other way for her to exit this spiral. It's a whirlpool of darkness.

Makoto got over Sakura again, just a bit, seems fine with Miiko too.

Kurahashi is still interested in Sakura as he once were, despite the age gap that can be fixed by waiting just few years.

Why the hell she needs Makoto again, she knows he moved on from the diary, don't drag him to this bullshit. That's selfish as hell.
