Hm... nah, I still can't like it, even if I can somewhat understand his motives. Itsuki should have maybe taken notice of his plight, but in no way could this ever justify what he's trying to do. He really was trying to emulate his brother's actions, and I am not liking it.

At the very least, cracks are already starting to show. He simply can't keep up this perfect image, and his brother simply isn't going to take this laying down.

I'm very happy that he isn't a real sadistic character, I do wonder how this will play out though.

@Tersione I think that the cracks are showing this early is a good sign that the story might actually end up pretty decent.

If the older paid so little attention to his brother then he was likely the same with everyone else, so if he learns from that he'll end up a better person for it. Likewise the younger one needs to find it within himself to sack up for real, not just as a clone of his brother.

I hope the competition over the girl blows up in their faces and she chooses someone else entirely, that'd learn em.

So he wants for Itsuki to pay more attention to him in a way if I'm thinking about this correctly... still, his means of doing so are nasty, don't use a person like that

@smashman42 This pretty much feels like a learning experience for the two of them to do better than before. Not sure if I agree about the girl rejecting Itsuki too, though. His feelings for her are genuine. Depending on how he'll try to win her over, it would rub me the wrong way if his relationship with her was ruined thanks to Haruka's actions. Similarly, I don't think it'll sit right with me if she's revealed to not be that good of a person, like Itsuki's friends.

Ahh, okay, not incredibly bad as I imagined but still that is a bad way of making someone take notice of you. Why not him just approach the brother himself? Do they not ever have times alone at their own house or something? It’s weird that they even got to this situation being twins in a household that doesn’t seem bad.

Trying to steal his girlfriend just so he would take notice of him has got to be one of the stupidest things i've read.
