we've been disappointed by the lack of smarts from many manga characters.

Ah, well, I hate to defend this story on any aspect; but from the outset the twist to this story has been that almost no one in this fictional world can work with more than one magic (and the MC alone can work with all forms).

Though of course, nevermind that he saved a noble's daughter and clearly displayed his ability to use a lot of different magic elements and somehow that news never spread and nobody went to look for this mystical being who could use multiple elements and a bunch of other conveniences that really just are just big holes in the foundation of the story that was never addressed or properly filled or covered over with other worldbuilding to at least provide some equivalent of swiss cheese defense where at least there's more explanation of the world building that provides some established alternative reasons as to why nothing came out of it.

So hey, you don't really need to defend this story much. It is trashy and pretty bland, but it can still be enjoyed for the bland trashy thing it is. Y'know, like when you have a craving for McNuggets. It's not good for you, it's pretty damn trash, but hey, when the craving hits.

Yeah, I don't want to begin to catalogue the problems. But, even if the whole class knew that the cohort had some genius, their being unprepared for this guy in F class to be that genius is itself quite plausible.

With me, it's more that I endure until-and-unless I hit saturation, at which point I disconnect from a series.

To make Sykes's inference stronger? Sure — though, even then, it wouldn't be unassailable, because people are often mistaken or dishonest in what they state.

For Sykes's making the inference to be believable? Nah. People are typically careless about such things.

what the f is this kyle had in mind when his tutor stated that he need to hide the other element, can only use wind magic in the academy and show the other when he really need to. so why the f is he showing this brat "noble" the other magic like it's just another tuesday?

That reminds me. I feel like all MC’s requirement for reincarnation into another world is that in exchange for said reincarnation, they have to relinquish their common sense and the memory of said condition being erased, lol. What else could it be?!

Ngl the F-Class teacher in this chapter also knowing full well if his power literally just encouraging destruction for the drama is an entire vibe, lol.

For that one chapter saying that they’ll just accuse him of cheating…not wrong since he said he’d cover everyone eyes from what I can tell so that he could use magic other than wind. And what’s so weird about someone having more than one element? Sure it’s uncommon, but I wouldn’t think it to be rare amongst nobles, lol. Like, the orb can shine in more than one colour, maybe?? I dunno.

Anyways, magic swordsman dude be thinking he has some copy or gimmick kinda ability if those types of skills exist here, lmao. That, or that he’s using magic tricks if THOSE exist here, lol. Like the “Don’t you kid me!” or “Don’t think that imitation can beat the real deal!” sorta generic lines.
