I don't really get the meaning of this work. The other chapters were already pretty symbolic, but this one is now finally over my head.
Clearest explanation I can think of is attempted suicide and in the limbo between life and death the other girl and her mother show her that life is more important than one failed test. But what is the significance of the sea weather in that context? Or is that just as reference to its title?
