This chapter has some interesting things going on.

First of all, the "wū from Qing China" mentioned in Chapter 1 is not present at the miko headquarters. Why might this be?

Secondly, the name of "The Great Nation of Miko-Japan" in Japanese is 大日本巫国 (literally: Great Japanese Miko-Nation), while the Empire of Japan is called 大日本帝国 (literally: Great Japanese Empire). Does this imply that Japanese imperialism does not exist in this timeline? The Opium Wars happened, so imperialism definitely exists in this world.

Thirdly, Maria says "Podejrzane..." at the end of this chapter, which is apparently Polish for "suspicious..." I guess Yoshino Shionji is kind of shady.

Fourthly, Maria's last name is "Skłodowska..." Guess who in history was born with first name Maria and last name Skłodowska... Yup, that's right, Marie Curie is in this manga...? The timeline matches up.

Lastly, the Erster Dreirad-Motorwagen von Carl Benz footnote in this chapter links to a 3D model on SketchFab lol. This makes sense, considering the author of this manga originally used 3D models to illustrate his work. Also note that the link requires specific capitalization, which the English translation failed to include through its use of CCWildWords.
