I swear, these titles are getting dumber by the day. Two people are involved in creating this manga (an illustrator and a writer), and if the title reflects the level of storytelling, it’s all the more ridiculous. As others have said, we've seen this play out before, but the setup is done very well. In a few chapters, without underselling or over-extending the plot, we have a clear definition of the world we're going into and a peek into the motivations of much of the cast, presented in a manner that flows naturally and sucks you into the story. I'm excited for the next chapters. Being a sucker for mecha helps in that regard, but nothing beats the classics.

there will be attempt rape on 10-year old Kaguya, the whole thing feels like in bad taste and unnecessary tbh - two rogue empire soldiers hunt for young girls from Yamato and "kidnap them"

also there's one unknown:

first empire princess is stereotypical sadist called "torture princess" - she kills for fun and i'm bit afraid, they might get overboard with her, in manner that the whole thing may become a bit too edgy, but we'll see

I want to feel bad about that part. But hoo boy the irony that the "Yamato" were portrayed as Japanese and remembering what they did during WW2 (which is worse)....as a Malaysian, I can't take it seriously and feel amused instead.

Honestly it comes across as obnoxious, bro is so obsessed with the game he forgets these are now real people and every interaction with the FMCs treats it as such. I don’t want him to be some loser who wallows in his own misery. I dunno maybe treat people like people and not the object of your desires.
