Based on the manga alone, I'm about 90% certain that the twintails-girl initiated the "killer-fluffball-genocide" in an attempt to powerlevel the bow-user.

oh definitely she helped to start it but the author went through the point of pointing out that the Shrine maiden went off on her own and as I stated Miss twintails still shares some blame being in the same party and not trying to curb it.Not to mention she pretty much admits to doing it on page 25

oh come on idiot mc you havent even seen actual gore or brutality so far and you still loose your head at the start of every encounter....
it should be a reflexsive reaction to tell the lizard with the shield to block in front and activate guard-> recovery-> attack on her.

2nd day 3 rd encounter and he is still going in without any prep.
you know what ? i scared a monk in real live from behind while he was playing a game, his reaction was hammering every single one of his instant skills before jumping
im not expecting that level of training but at the very least the reaction you see an enemy cast you support on your vanguard thief with the shield and have her engage in a block between you snd the threat

This gambler girl reminds me of the Female Clown class of DQ3: Pretty cute, high luck for drops but couldn't equip good weapons and was annoying to fight with since even now and then she'd do some useless moves instead of attacking the monsters. Maybe in this manga this reckless behavior is part of the Gambler class?

Also props to the manga author that, on top of having a gorgeous art on both characters and scenarios, write the story in a good pacing, I feel like he can convey many events in a single page without making things too rushed story-wise.
