Its true, but to be fair being a powerful warrior does. Even thought these stories always work on video game logic (which is funny because its streamlined tabletop logic that was supposed to emulate real life combat in the first place) the caloric expenditure of a warrior would be a couple thousand more than that of a regular person. You can compare strongman/bodybuilder caloric intake for reference.
