is rape, but if neither side has a problem with it it's not really a crime. No objection or apprehension implies consent. MCs strongest complaint (about the sex) so far was
"I'm not ready", but then he has basically no problems with it after the deed.
I think the 'mother candidates' are all horrible people, and MC is pretty weird. I just find the definition of the term 'rape' lacking for this situation. Rape is categorically a crime, but if the victim accepts it willingly after the fact it shouldn't really be a crime.
You're probably right about a lot of people. I never laughed about this, and would feel exactly the same regardless if the genders were swapped. So, you're wrong in my case.
