Sekine is so passive in his interactions with women, yet is a woman magnet, that this is what it leads to. Any woman dating, let alone marrying him, would need to be prepared to witness Sekine being surrounded by other women, being all physical with him, yet the dude wouldn't really do much about it. He would just display his cold stare and curt words, not even realising it seems to only make the women all the more eager.
Kisaragi has never shown any sort of personality that would be understanding toward people afflicted with Asperger's, so it would be all the more difficult for her. In fact I doubt she has even realised Sekine is like that. She treats him like he was a statistically average man in that sense, which makes his behavior look purposefully odd in her eyes. It also makes her easily misjudge him. That's a real recipe for a disaster. Sekine can absolutely not count on Kisaragi coming to meet him at the halfway point. She's also young, so she's lacking the kind of wisdom age would bring, that would allow one to be patient and not jump to conclusions.
While he's at it, Sekine should bill 10 million yen from his stupid company, as compensation for all the trouble. If the request was denied, he could find another company easily with his skills and experience.
