Also I really miss the girls from Jayanne, they had more character then most side-kicks in series. Also the window dressing was superb

@Seink there are lots of people who get disowned or shunned by their family and friends when they come out as gay, it's a very serious issue. This chapter makes a point to say, "it's okay for straight guys to fuck men sometimes", and treats it like it's not a serious issue.

At least that was my initial reaction. Looking at this comment war I sort of started, I'm realizing that I was judging Japanese trap culture from an American standpoint, which obviously isn't apples to apples.

@Kanol Yeah the Kinsey scale, but in this chapter they seem to be saying that it's okay for someone who's a zero on the Kinsey scale to do gay things, instead of just admitting that they're a 1 or higher on the scale and accepting it. It's the fetish without the stigma which, now that I've articulated this thought more thoroughly, is the kind of low risk fantasy and escapism that entertainment media is supposed to provide for us.

Homosexuality is not a choice. I don't expect you to take my word on it, but I also don't expect you to base your opinion entirely on "articles".

There is a small-minded human habit of falsely assuming that most things are simple and that we have a good grasp on them. We have a responsibility to fight his habit, and to do it we need to reach out and talk to actual people. You need to reach out and talk to actual members of the LGBT community, and listen to them instead of other people just talking about them.
