Suirenji High School 1-D, Nehan, Earth Defense Department, Military Draft Strategy Office
Shely (M Type Marl), Takashi (E Type Eira, Leafa), Natalie (G Type Grace)
★ At Takashi’s house, Natalie, Shely, and Karin are watching TV together. Suddenly, they’re shocked by a statement from the world’s top idol, Olivia Stagia, saying she’s deeply in love with Takashi in an interview. She even made a song called “I Love Takashi”, yeah seriously it feels like we’re five seconds away from making a baby. Karin, confused how someone like Olivia could be connected to Takashi, asks for an explanation. From that, she finally learns Takashi’s secret from Natalie and Shely, that his body was modified to fight alien invaders. Turns out Olivia is just one of the many people Takashi saved before.
★ And it’s not just Karin watching that interview, Fumika and Rinko saw it too. Fumika immediately calls Takashi to confirm if it’s really him. Because she keeps pushing, Takashi finally tells everything to Fumika and Rinko. Rinko already knew about his modified body, but Fumika is completely shocked and immediately asks about the side effects.
★ Sumire, Karin’s friend and Rinko’s fellow model who also likes Takashi, is shocked too after hearing the news. She asks Karin to confirm it, but since she still can’t accept it, especially with her love rival getting way stronger, she wants to ask Takashi directly. But Takashi is out shopping that day, so she waits at his house with Karin. Social media suddenly blows up again, everyone around the world is talking about Takashi as Earth’s hero. Tons of people from different countries are asking where he is. His heroic videos spread everywhere, but only for about 10 minutes before everything suddenly disappears and all related accounts get permanently banned.
★ Fumika’s mom receives a military draft letter addressed to Fumika. She’s confused since the alien war should already be over. Fumika doesn’t dare ask Takashi because she doesn’t want him to go back to war. (Backstory: Fumika has always been by Takashi’s side since birth, same hospital, same schools, she feels like she can’t live without him. When Takashi was sent to war, she almost broke down but tried to stay strong to welcome him back. Rinko shut herself in, Renji turned delinquent, and Fumika slowly helped them recover.)
★ Fumika’s mom calls the Earth Defense Department about the letter. They explain it’s for people over 25 to eliminate leftover aliens. Fumika says she’s only 16, and they apologize and recheck. But somehow, they claim she’s still eligible and ask her mom to meet them to “cancel” it by exposing military secrets. Fumika gets suspicious when she’s told not to leave the house.
★ Fumika keeps telling Takashi she’s fine, hiding her fear, but the stress makes her accidentally send a help message. A few minutes later, Takashi suddenly appears at her window. After hearing everything, he feels something’s off since he never got any info about this, and all aliens should already be gone. When Fumika’s mom comes back, she looks desperate to transfer money. Takashi immediately realizes it’s a scam taking advantage of post-war conditions.
★ Takashi gets seriously pissed and tells her to hold off reporting to the police because he wants to handle it himself. He uses Type E (Eira) to mimic her voice, gets Shely (Type M Marl) to track the scammers, and Natalie (Type G Grace) to check how many people are there. When the scammers insult Fumika and her mom, Takashi’s anger goes off the charts. After the call ends, he uses Leafa to force-teleport them in front of him. They panic, get thrown into the sky, end up traumatized, kneeling and begging for forgiveness, promising to return all the money, then Takashi drags them straight to the police.
★ At school, Amane Kyousuke, the class leader and the one behind Takashi’s isolation, starts feeling pressured after realizing his actions were stupid. He hasn’t been coming to school, using stomachache as an excuse. Without him, the troublemakers act freely and start bullying Takashi out of jealousy because girls keep surrounding him.
★ Hanamura, the leader of the delinquents, tries to trap Takashi during final exams by accusing him of cheating. The whole class backs him up, claiming they saw it too. But the teacher doesn’t support them, instead he scolds Hanamura. It’s an English exam, and Takashi, who just came back from abroad, is actually better at English than the teachers, so cheating makes no sense. After that, Hanamura and his group get called to the principal for a serious warning. The teacher later asks Takashi if he’s being bullied, but Takashi says he’s not, just being avoided.
★ Then things escalate, Hanamura challenges Takashi openly, saying Takashi doesn’t deserve to be with Natalie and Shely. He thinks he’s more suitable since he’s good at basketball and handsome, unlike “average” Takashi. Takashi, who already decided to protect Natalie and Shely’s feelings, accepts the challenge in basketball, Hanamura’s specialty. The condition: if Takashi loses, he leaves school. If Hanamura loses, he can’t interfere with Takashi anymore.
★ Takashi’s friends get furious. Renji even wants to beat Hanamura up but gets stopped by Fumika. Tomoe apologizes for not helping earlier and is ready to use her family power if needed, since she sees herself as Takashi’s wife. Fumika and Rinko also claim the same, competing over being his wife. Renji just stands there like, what the hell is going on.
★ During the match, a lot of students watch. Most want Hanamura to win so they can get closer to Natalie and Shely. Hanamura is confident because the referee is his friend and already biased. Before the game starts, Takashi adds another condition: if he wins, everyone supporting Hanamura can’t talk to or interfere with him, Natalie, or Shely anymore. The whole court goes silent.
★ The match ends with Takashi’s team completely dominating thanks to their insane physical abilities. Hanamura gets crushed, starts crying, and runs away while the crowd insults him. Fumika and Rinko then tell Takashi to chill a bit in sports, because now even more girls are getting attracted to him, making their competition even worse.
