This manga is underrated as usual.

It's always weird to see Japan is like North Korea in this manga. Like how do you cover up news as big as fighting humanity ending aliens...

Hey, you may have heard that there was some kind of galactic war going on out there, and that the world is at stake... that's just America doing America stuff, we have nothing to worry about, just continue as you are. If any of your friends or family were drafted, that's nothing to worry about either, they are just extras in documentary the US is filming, and they aren't allowed to contact anyone until the filming is done, they'll probably have learned fluent English by the time they come back, which will be great on their transcripts.

If the conflict zone is localized, you'd be surprised on how many things can be covered up. Look no further to Kiev and the Middle East.

Combination of MC's request to not having his home country know he's big deal + The Battle's effect mostly limited to area outside of Japan, probably far, and Aliens decides to focus all force onto few place rather than all place at once.
Then again, that shouldn't mean Japan should not know Aliens war is ended, ig there's some misunderstanding of MC's request that "don't want people to think I'm big deal" also mean "Japan doesn't know war end", and seeing how badly misunderstanding the communication between people even in the Earth Defending Force (cough cough) , I won't be surprised if that's the case

Pretty sure that draft notice is a fake. Even the newly recruited cyborgs from Rinko's arc had to return without ever fighting.
But I guess MC never told anyone that the war has ended?
I thought the war ended in chapter 1? Did I miss something??

What an absurd schedule. I need more of this silliness, can someone point me on where to read the novels?

setting aside the how the draft notice may not be valid, it was pretty funny seeing all of the girls drool over mc’s muscles

I read the spoilers of what this arc is resolved. I can't believe this type of scam actually happened after WWII

Well that's unusual.. one of the heroines actually clearly asked to be saved for once instead of the usual 'I don't want to be a bother trope'.. nice

I mean, MC has the Director General in his contacts list. The most this involves is a call and "why are you still sending out draft notices? The war is over."
