Based on the previous chapter there are two possible timeframes for what happened to the twins' dad that don't include him already being the Demon Lord when they were conceived, and both of them seem very fast for a demon to go from a non-notable incubus to Demon Lord. Either he speedran everything in the 15 years between then and when the town butcher said the DL had been defeated right before their mom first told them they were demons, or in the 40 years between that and when they got caught (*edit: and the butcher was talking about the Demon Lord before him).

We don't really know how long demons live but it still feels more likely to me that daddy was off having trysts with human women while he was demon lord.
