Because lighning is countless milions of Volt. To jump 1 cm of air you need approximately 10 000 Volts of electricty and her sparks flew probably 1-2 Meter so that would make 1 -2 Milion of Volts. A phone needs 5 Volts. Thats why you need a charger that regulates the electricty coming from your outlet from 230 V (or 110 V) down to 5 V.

To be honest it would have made more sense if she fried the circuit of the phone with her spark.

I think, if that's how a lightning spell works, no one would survive getting hit by even the weakest version of it.

It's magic, man. Isekais have done crazier things with 'em.

As much as I love a buff, big booba dragon lady, I would like it if the story still focused on survival. This premise is very fun.

Also wasn't it said that Dragon King Naga was like the final boss of the dragons? Seems like kind of a waste to up the stakes of the powerlevels so soon on the story. Unless they come up with a reason to really nerf her.

Have you not though that the author would just do that. Just adding more people to the magicless island where both of them have to rely on the guy for survial.
