@QuietSnowy and @MadParadox It's the demons, as far as the main story goes, they never say about what Crest Gaia (the name everyone calls Matty for his past life) had so that so far isn't a factor, and even so, Matthias only managed to get so OP with his production crest because he literally kept pushing the limits of everything (in this case he fills any magic tool to the brim with spells and then shoot it)

So yeah, it's still the demons fault that the 1st crest became the glory crest, and not Matty as far as the main story goes
