Well...thanks for the chapter, Kappabeast--even with the story and design decisions as they are.
"Great Sage" huh? I'd also be in sage mode all the time if I were surrounded by such buxom beauties.
...But in order to enter "sage mode", you'd have to be outside of it and thus experience the condition necessary to put you into it, at some point. Constant sage mode and the entering thereof are mutually exclusive. lol
And so, the assembly line churns out another one: another story with an effeminate (nearly androgynous, actually) spellcaster male MC--the actual mahou shoujo in such a setting--who, incapable of picking up a sword to fight, must leave that to the women (the only ones who can wield them, apparently, in this setting) he hides behind; the weak male MC "empowers" those strong women from behind, waving his dainty hand to make flashy things happen.
Even his attire looks feminine. He even gets princess-carried by one of those girls. lol Authors don't even try to disguise what they're selling these days, it seems.
The art and (female) character design (minus that of the shorthair, of course) are wasted on such a story, but what else is new? You could call it one of those stories you only read for the girls, but you might as well just cut out the male MC if that was
truly the case. That said, Sophia's best girl: best outfit, best name, best looks.
