damn man, ending just like that
if only the author for "Now That We Draw" would see that. I read all 50 chapters and the first was pretty peak romance but sadly the 2nd half lost what made it special... its really dragging on the love triangle with the childhood friend and the main female lead basically lost her progress and helped her rival gain progress despite both the mc and fmc clearly having feelings for each other EARLY ON.There's an argument to be made that the mark of a good story is knowing when to end it, even if it could have continued longer.
I think this one meets that benchmark. We got a fair range of situations and interactions, a varying bit of tone and drama (without ever feeling truly forced, in-context with the characters and their behavior and mannerisms), and even the sorta-triangle situations ultimately didn't detract from the progress and pacing, and I would argue actually helped bolster the plot and added a nice comedic element.
It could have maybe gone on for another volume, but we can say this definitely didn't overstay its welcome, as-is.
That's not one I've personally read, but I heard something akin to "they sorta went from Triangle >> Pseudo-Throuple except more not-quite-yuri than anything because the ML was effectively sidelined by his crush and the other girl".if only the author for "Now That We Draw" would see that. ya in the 2nd half of the manga so far they pretty much forgot about the whole premise of learning, drawing manga together while gaining feelings for each other. if you would ever decide to read it then i'd be interested in a reply back of how u felt with it lolThat's not one I've personally read, but I heard something akin to "they sorta went from Triangle >> Pseudo-Throuple except more not-quite-yuri than anything because the ML was effectively sidelined by his crush and the other girl".
I only say that I heard this, like, third-hand, so I don't claim it's accurate - but if I'm anywhere near the mark, it sounds like the sort of series wherein the author lost the plot a bit.
I guess it matters less if the core "wanting to be artists/comic makers" idea was retained, but, I could see how that sort of development to a prevalent subtheme to a title would turn readers off of a series.
