Yeah it is good, sadly not for Aoi who wants her parents to get back together.

But that's a part of growing for people in her situation, reality can be really harsh sometimes.

And people don't always fix their break up like in fairy tales.

At the very least, Aoi handled that pretty well, it obviously hurt her, but she's doing pretty good.

Of course she'll probably need time to come to accept, and a time to release her tears, maybe Makoto will come and let him be her outlet to release her frustration.

After all, she's gonna need to release those tears and vent up those feeling eventually.

Yeah, that was obvious from the get go, Aoi mom moved on from her obsessed with whales husband that neglected her just as her daughter.

Aoi seems to realize that her father although kinda caring hasn't grown out of his fixation, even her grandma thinks this way.

Hongo looks like a keeper, he wasn't let down when Aoi mom tried to tone it down about their relationship like it's nothing more and is glad to meet her despite it's not his child he will take care of.

It's a hard decision, Aoi probably thought they might come back together, but her mom didn't mention father much in their conversations...
