absurd chapter
That elbow drop and uppercut lol
And so well needed. That is one of the more tragic defence mechanisms we humans have when we experience trauma, that we lock the image of people in our head since we can not bare to see them change. That's an ice cold slap to the face
to be fair the friend probably has no clue about anything until just now. it's great she was able to help Momiji understand how terrible of a sister she has been all this time. i still aint shipping her with Hajime though despite how good of a person she actually isFriend realizes how deep the sister problems way too late.
I believe she might smack some sense right into sister head asap if she realize wtf going on.
Did you miss what happened at the end of her introductory chapter? Despite dressing up and gathering her courage to go to the bar for Hajime's contact details, the moment Momiji called her and sounded like she was in trouble, Madoka dropped everything she was doing and headed to her friend's aid without a second thought. To top it off she didnt even see it as an inconvenience, instead immediately trying to take action until Momiji stopped her and explaining why. Madoka is a good person even if she is in a world of her own at times. This chapter is pretty good. Momiji having a reality check that her little sister had been growing up isolated and not stopped aging like she had conveniently made up in her mind, learning that her adorable and innocent little sister had grown to be twisted and vengeful in a manner, realizing that the way she had been "raising" Kaede was wrong, this is all really good!
I also like how it paints the friend in a more competent manner than Momiji and a better light than she was introduced as. She was introduced as a hopeless love struck woman with a failed romance waiting for her, then Momiji makes her seem like a slut in denial, but now she actually did some competent detective work, cared for her friend's well being and helped her solve a major problem.
This is not the level of good writing I was expecting from this story, but I'm all for it!
