Didn't really like this chapter... We get all of Dante's internal fight, but lose all of th einteresting things happening outside, I mean, we didn't get to see even his own fight. I hope the next chapter goes back and shows all that went on while he was lost in his own mind.

Dante's signature magic is obviously not Witch's Workshop. It's probably something "uncool" that he never bothered practicing on like cooking or gardening.

It's kind of hinted that Witch's Fortress could be his signature magic and when you think about it, it kind of makes sense.

Dante is hardworking, stubborn, but also pretty slow. In most media, these characteristics are given to offensive fighters.
However, you can also put these attributes to Fortress' or shields and they would also be fitting. Him being the Immovable Tough shield would be a great contrast to Shao who's main attribute is wind (being very mobile, free, and offensive oriented).

In a previous chapter, they showed that Dante's defensive magic held up almost as long as Shao (#1 in the entire year) and Ibuki (secret combat magician working for the government), but even then, Shao later admitted that he can't move at all while using the spell and is unsuited for it.
