Honestly guys, we view comparison as a bad thing when you’re feeing inferior. Yet, it’s also something that makes you aware at what you are lacking or could try. Sometimes you just need the brutal truth.

But comparison is the worst when they try to use that to one up you.

Alright Sensei you might not know this, completely understandable, but when trying to cheer anyone up, do NOT bring other names up,  especially in comparison to the person youre trying to encourage. Like if you're comparing them to someone "better," that is not going to improve their mood. If you're comparing them to someone "worse," why are you bringing them into this! Also that only provides comfort to the petty part we all have!

Yeah, well, welcome to the Asian parenting and teaching where the only way to make your children better is by comparing them to the person they have inferiority complex with, their successful neighbors kids, some stranger privilaged kids, and even the best comparing them to their siblings 🤣.

Man, i must be honest that i hate Dante the most here over Nagisa because he reminds me of my past self. Those embarrassing days ughhh shiver. But i didn't reaching to the level of Dante. All bark, slapping away helping hand.

Jokes aside: Theres a reason Im no high school/middle school teacher. You realize that even when you grow up, you arent going be a paragon of competence. I lack patience in dealing with teenagers and this obviously also influences whether I like a fictional character in terms of their personality or not. Not sure why this is not allowed
