I hope this doesnt turn into "a mastermind tries ro manipulate the students into becoming whatever the prophecy told you". Cant it just be simple without someone doing stuff from the back?
tbh im kind of buying the self fulfilling prophecy angle but i think if this dean guy is really going for that then he'll ultimately fail really hard and is probably a red herring

i feel like what's really gonna tip these kids over the edge is finding out that solo was sent to assassinate them, breaking their trust in him and a system whose first response to potential evil is killing literal children

Id dig your plot. I was more suggesting the author wanted the reason for the kids to ultimately go down the bad route be an adult trying to manipulate them to do so. Not because the person at the end actually knows of the prophecy.

Spoilers for this point if you don't want to wait. I got too impatient and caught up with the raws (chapter 29 as of writing this)
There is indeed someone working from the shadows to (presumably) make the prophecy come true. I was a bit disappointed myself. However we still don't know their motivation or how they actually do it. Solo-sensei and Ibuki have caught on that there's someone interfering and are investigating currently amidst all other activities.

Just caught up to it.. I thought the premise is kinda weak and kind of meh, but surprisingly I enjoyed the story. Thank you for translating this one.

Oh whats the raw schedule for this one..? Weekly? Bi-weekly? Or monthly..?
Weekly, but the author sometimes splits a chapter into 2~6 parts. I will try to catch up with the raws but lately, I got busy with IRL stuff so I will be scanlating Bi-Weekly 🙏

Well, if we can prevent hundreed death with just 1 death I think that is worth it

I see I see... its ok. I just curious I thought its a monthly manga with that many amount of pages. Splitting chapter in parts is basically a monthlt I guess.

And good luck with your thesis
