And no. Some men are driven by sex, and some are obsessive with sex. Big difference. There's nothing wrong with a guy wanting it, but if it's all you think about, it's problematic. The way it was written, it implied you did. Maybe it sounded good in your head, but text doesn't convey emphasis and expression well (the curse of written conversation).
