Yeesh. I know she's a rape victim but there's a limit to the behaviour that'd justify, and I'd consider blaming a 16 year old rape victim for their rape outside of that.

Yup, should definitely not be a teacher. She's projecting and giving the opposite of good advice. Also denies that men can be rape victims by equating lack of physical strength to rapeability. Her having been raped doesn't excuse her, but it does somewhat explain her behaviour.

Given that she's been blaming herself this whole time for being raped, I wouldn't say she's the most educated about rape, which is probably why she's also misinformed about male rape victims.

Was kind of hoping the MC would, by looking back at her past, realize the boy was in the same situation as she is and would help him.
Should've realized after reading the first five chapters that such a thing will probably not happen in this manga.
You just told a 16 yo that he's to blame for his own rape and all you can think about is how you just butted heads with a "man" for the first time?? You are fucked in the head, MC. ?
Also, kid gets this heartbreaking moment where a figure of authority that he should be able to trust basically calls him trash and his first reaction is to run to the bathroom to squeeze one off?? Kid's fucked in the head too. ?

Leaving this manga here.

It’s insane how two people can have such similar trauma and end up tearing at each other so much.. kind of like a hedgehog’s dilemma. The teacher really fucked up big time with what she said

What a dick move on her part. Like, that's the kind of thing you can (and should) get fired for saying.

she is right in a sense. men do have more power and privileges than women and will be encouraged by their community and government to be that way. growing up as a man means knowing these are things you are responsible for and using it to navigate life and protect/advocate for others. but blaming him for his rape and telling him hes gonna grow up to be a serial rapist is crazy. this is a cautionary tale so idm
