It's very common for celebrities, despite having millions of fans, to feel utterly alone and isolated due to having to uphold a persona at all times. Their public image as a celebrity is oftentimes very different from their true self. Having to constantly maintain such an inage in front of others, they may lose sight of their true self, leading to identify crises and mental health burdens. The reason she tried to killherself is likely due to the emotional burden of feeling as if she no longer exists; that there was no room left for the real her in both her private and public life.

From the looks of it, when he feigned ignorance before, she was able to be herself in front of him, as his ignorance prevented any expectations of who she is supposed to be and how she is supposed to act from weighing her down.

I hope that now, even after she knows he knew her before, they are both able to be themselves without feeling limited by the others expectations. Given her reaction to him asking to return to being strangers, she is already quite dependent on him as her lifeline, the person who grounds her to reality.

Given that it's only the beginning of this arc, I doubt it will be resolved easily. I expect that that there will be a lot of drams related to her deoendancy on him, and the resolution will involve her learning how to disentangle her two selves, express herself genuinely, and be able to live for her own sake.

I've known people like her. With the damage she has she needs to see a specialist, but he should maintain a companionship with her as she is very depressed, lonely, suicidal and doesn't know what to do. His friendship will be helpful. However he can't help her unless she wants to be helped.
