I wonder if it'll end with a timeskip. Zoe gonna win this fight, got in to a coma, and after Lucas and friends win the war against the empire, it'll skip to when Lucas get older and find a way bring Zoe back from the coma.

Honestly can see Zoe comaing, Lucas will film all his memories waiting for her to wake up.

Can imagine something Interstellar like when Coop was watchin all the recordings of his family growing up.

Moura is definitely gonna betray the empire, I was already pretty sure of it with how he acts when Poppy betrayed Lucas&co, but with that whole "I fight for the winner" I'm sure of it.

Zoe falling into an eternal coma feels like an endgame sort of situation but the manga is doing well enough to have an anime adaption so...???

Those 2 things aren't connected, even if the series gets massively popular (and hopefully it does) they shouldn't suddenly change their plan and needlessly extend the last arc.
