I don’t think teamwork actually solves the trolley problem. These people are tied to a railroad track, you can’t actually untie them in time. Having two people on a kill lever doesn’t actually solve the issue.

Person 1 aims the trolley at the track with less people. Person 2 gets them off the track before they can be run over.

If that was a thing you could do, that was something you would have been able to do on your own. The fact that wasn’t a feasible option to begin with doesn’t suddenly make it possible with a second person. You still have to outrun a runaway trolley and then untie the rope. Adding a second person just means the second person has to outrun a trolley and untie the rope. At most, you’re saving like a second or two since you didn’t waste a second pulling a lever.

you don't even need 2 people, either time it right or leave the lever in the middle of both, best case scenario the trolley disrails in a way causing it to turn sideways which kills all the people tied to the track and those that are inside the trolley
