This chapter (in my opinion), feels really fast, so I suspect it was at this point that the mangaka was being told to wrap up the story of the light novel in the limited time they had left. Thankfully though, they mangaka was still able to deliver chapters 65&66, the chapters I believe to be the strongest in the series. I hope I can deliver this last two chapters in a timely manner

Honestly the part they are missing is who cares about the kingdom? Its literally barely is a military threat and only won due to the help of the evil organization. It lacks resources to make it a valuable subordinate and the best thing about it is they have a princess/ruler who is less likable than Vi.

alice i thought you were a super android, do you not remember that the initial goal was to take over the grace kingdom after defeating the demon king army? also do you really think that members of an evil organization give a rat's ass about following rules. i think alice must be malfunctioning seeing as she really let such a stupid deal go through. the normal alice would have more than likely threatened the grace kingdom to accept the peace treaty or get wrecked. i think she needs to be sent in for repairs.

Wouldn't it have been better (for everyone) to just have Viper act as the face of "demons aren't bad anymore"? The evil demon lord (bad) who did bad things and everyone hated died. This is the ~new~ demon lord (good) who immediately surrendered after she took power and then helped with a bunch of stuff and is good. Just because the scapegoat is dead doesn't mean you can't use it. And this is all without lying, even.

judging from the artist's past tweets, it seems it was planned that they'd wrap up the manga adaption once this arc concluded cause the respective light novel volume ends with this arc as well. so the only reason i can think of why the chapter feels rushed is probably because they wanted to cram the end into one volume and not have a few chapters left that need to be published in another volume alongside random stuff to fill the pages.
