This may be only my wishful thinking, but after re-reading I can't help but notice this:

Page 26 bottom-right panel, Alice is looking to her right, then bottom-left panel the kamikaze frog jumps to her from her left, her blind spot.

Next page we see that N°6 protect her by kicking the frog towards the enemies. Alice notice this and use the opportunity to shot the frog, causing a big explosion.

Next page, we see N°6 protecting Alice from said explosion.

Again, this may be my wishful thinking, just a coincidence, but still I believe they are really good partners and the best 'ship' in this whole manga.
