And then it ends with priestess lady, like he's running back to his wife. A pair I don't recall ever getting romantic vibes from.

Whatever. It was fun for a while and they got to end it.

Thanks for finishing the scanlation.

Aw. Its the same as in the novel where this ended as if they had a romantic relationship. At least show us some romance man. I wish the studio would make a side story covering the romance.

Not the worst ending, but the whole "it is a virtual world" felt forced.
Originally I had given 9+/10 score, but downgrading to 7+/10.

Nuh-uh. That ending implication is unfair.
Also not having a romance tag just says that romance is not part of its main topics so if the ending is a bit romantical without a romance tag is not weird at all.
Actually, some stories has romance tag and they never ever hooked up with any of the love interest. Thats worse.

I don't care that there is no romance. I care that the ending is hinting at a feeling/relationship that there was never even a notion of in the prior 149 chapters.
By the time MC left her to drive the story off the final cliff, they were low-key friends. But the ending has him racing to see her and her staying up staring into the far blue like this was a romance novel about a long-lost sailor and his fishwife.

This reveal of the virtual world really retroactively ruined all the tension of the rest of the manhwa.

BTW the explanation was lightly different in the LN. I quoted a comment explaining it on ch 149, you can go there to see the full comment. But short version:

TL;DR. In the LN this is explained: Earth was swarmed with nanites to solve climate change (it failed). CEOs became dimensional lords cuz they made the matrix. When the matrix was done, they would "Keep" their powers on real Earth by controlling the nanties. So Kang woo Jin is using magic on real Earth by controlling nanites
