I'm guessing: Yui (base form) isn't too strong, so she takes damage easily. But then she fires off her cheat skill, which consumes people (in some way) in order to recover (and maybe power up). So maybe the only way to safely attack her is when there are no other people around for her to cannibalize. Which is why Silkie is protecting her on a beach full of potential cannibalization victims.

True. The Yuri girls are nice, but if I remember right they're still pretty evil, so it will be nice to see our beloved murderer to actually dirty her hands with innocent blood once in a while rather than seeing the story accommodate her with evil enemies all the time.
