Which is to say, the story is really tropey and generic for the most part but the art is good enough to make you forget that. There's only 2 chapters out at the time of writing this, but I don't believe the writing in this story is going to improve over time.

I've always hated how fiction tends to portray serial killers as cool, mysterious, and daring instead of what they are: cowardly, soulless freaks who exclusively prey on the weakest and most vulnerable people in society. The kind of people that target children because they can't fight back, and prostitutes because nobody will ask when they're gone. A serial killer in another world wouldn't take on fucking heroes, he'd kill whores, slaves, and orphans.
