So as soon as she begans to deeply ponder her emotional and psychological state she malfunctions and defaults to her "i want to have sex" persona. I'm not ready to fully support the "old man is just made up" theory but she definitely has some deep-rooted issues that she doesnt wanna face head-on. The sex stuff is her defense mechanism.
