well, you know...it's a shame that she's out of the game so early, but it is what it is. Moreover we don't know (yet) if this character will be somehow resurrected in later volumes. It's not impossibile, although I wouldn't bet on it too much.

I'm not sure about the laughing women...maybe possessed by some evil spirits? Who knows for sure...

Harara will arrive in chapter 10. And that will take a while!
