Correct. The rooms of memories and the ancestors themselves are the real cheats.

tbf it is a legendary 1 of 1 (maybe idk) demon tier item lost to time. If it wasn't powerful the hype wouldn't be worth it.

I'm fine with that, the MC has been a punching bag bottom feeder for long enough. Even after Getting his power up and a bit of confidence he got beaten. Letting him scrape out a win and move on is a good decision.
