Ok I did re-read the Light Novel in this part, the battle went very differently, it was longer and Lyle did use the battleaxe for most and once he go Full Burst, he just cleaved the orc and that sword in half with Sophia's Axe also he did punched the orc into Novem's flame spell, yeah the one who landed the final blow was Novem in the LN.

The manga also did not show the radar Art Lyle learnt from the other ancestor (I think it was fourth?) when he was basically spamming it already at this point. I wonder if the manga would ever show this.

Oh btw that sword he holding in the manga isn't the first sword, that's just the greatsword that orc wielded.

what his orginal arts ?

We havent been told yet. We just know it sapps his strength for some future purpose. Which is why he seems so weak initially. Even though he could beat anyone but his sister with his casting and swordsmanship.
