How does levels work here? Is it like Rance? Lvl0 are those that can do any such skill but nothing special, lvl1s are grown adults and professionals, lvl2s are highly skilled geniuses and lvl3 are the one in million legendary existences?

like the other guy said, leveling is like fire emblem RNG stat boosting drunk effect aside. skills are entirely determined genetics, rare items, (or unheard of equipment like lyle's jewel containing multiple skills AND his ancestors.) so only 3 skills per person without rare items/equipment. again unless that changes from the WN version.

as you can imagine lyle is really gonna stand out once he gets to 6+ skills. because even most advanced adventurers only go for their 3 innate skills and maybe 1-2 from items/equipment. some rare outliers who horde skill using equipment aside anyways. it's also generally looked at as an fools errand to go above 4 or 5 skills because of mastery reasons. Mr. lyle aside, just regular lyle is gonna break people's brains by how talented and how many skills he got. (side note Mr. lyle is generally better combat wise too since his reaction time is faster by a lot, mr lyle's ego isn't entirely unfounded.

Most people have a minor euphoric response to Growth. Lyle takes forever to achieve that, and it's basically on a constant high
