No. Simply being in the presence of people does not equate universally to fun. No, not even if you like them.
Why do so many manga / anime series try to force that blatantly false cliché down everyones' throats?

Even with my friends, I get tired of just hanging around with them pretty quickly since we don't really do much of anything. In fact I get bored pretty quickly whenever I'm not buried in games, anime or manga.
