Are you telling me that a professional doesn't keep external hard disks for frequent automatic backups of concerned files while working on something important? Really? Accidents of many kinds can happen while working, it's standard to always back things up frequently if you work with something that takes a lot of time to recover or is even impossible to recover if something happens. It's even possible to have a separate harddisk that mirrors the main harddisk and adds everything new onto the extra harddisk or that just adds whatever folders you want it to add whenever you change the content of said folders. I'd think that a mangaka would have proper backup like that because if you lose the drawings you're working on for whatever reason, it'll take a very long time to redraw it and will probably result in a missed deadline and a lot of overtime/unnecessary extra work and stress for nothing. What should've happened here was that she'd lose a few hours buying a new pc and setting the necessary programs up and then be back to work where she left off.
Remember, kids. Always back your files up regularly, even if you're not a pro. At least once a week is a good idea. No need to backup the entire computer since it's better to just reinstall everything on a clean install and get rid of all the extra waste that piles up in an older computer. Just get an external harddisk and set it to back-up the maps you'd miss if they disappeared.
Anyway, I don't really like this girl. She gets in the way of the fluff. She's just a mere mooching pig failure at life that can't even do elementary things such as cooking proper meals or keep her room tidy. Having a job alone doesn't mean a person is a decent human being. Also, the first impression couldn't possibly have been worse, illegally opening a stranger's door, threatening to call the police despite having no understanding of the situation, reprimanding someone for making slight noise in the middle of the day(also, seriously, get a pair of noise-cancelling headphones if you're bothered by noise in the middle of the day, that or some ear plugs) and then becoming docile because she was fed and spoiled. Repulsive. If she hadn't been such a bitch when they first met, I wouldn't have cared but now I just feel like she's getting in the way.
