Hi! Yes, it should be Triad, but the author decided to use Mafia instead, even on the title page of the manga, so her intent was respected.

Kudo sensei debuted in 2019, so she's still a fresh author. Her past works were all TL, so she's just experimenting with something new with this series.

This story is expected to be silly, short, and cute. So no worry too much.

There's a 50% chance the ML won't do anything to the FL, even when she turns 18 (the magazine where it is serialized rarely shows that kind of content. Have you guys noticed the lack of bodies and the little blood, too?)

Fair enough; your post does explain a lot with the story's plot. And to be fair I followed the series pretty much right after I read the first chapter, so I thought it was at least decent as well. I was just half nitpicking half joking lol.
