Given her brown skin, maid outfit and kind-of helpful nature, I can't help but think this one is supposed to be a Brownie.
A type of Seelie Fae, Brownies help humans out by doing minor chores while staying out of sight.
Legends say that giving them a gift like clothing drives them out forever, though the reason varies--sometimes, they are said to be insulted that you believe your clothes are superior to theirs, other times, they leave happy and grateful for the present.
