I'm just saying that since this is their first non-h work I'm wondering if they're gonna be able to pull it off.

Well, this is actually his 7th non-H work (tho his first 2 works he only was the artist).
Its true that his previous works were somewhat short, but since this series is already on its 11th volume i think he is pulling it off pretty well.

No, its not a fact. There are authors that draw yuri or futa hentai but when they work on non-H authors they dont draw yuri or futa LOL

Dunno about that scene being unnecessary or not, but this is a slice-of-life about an adult dude and, you know, to adults sex is something that just happens. Moreover, this a seinen, a genre that targets adult readers (and on top of that is tagged as "smut" LOL), so if you expected him to behave like a virgin teen because you want him to live a fluffy life with the loli, then i guess you are reading the wrong series?

Oh I didn't know that they had more non-h works, sorry about that, I just checked their name on mangadex and found nothing else

And yeah many, volumes can mean that they're doing well. I was more conserned about the story and narration though (I'm not considering myself any kind of snob critic , I'm just saying that even I can spot a badly written story if I see one)

Going from hentai, in which the art is probably more important, to non-h, in which both the art and the story matter can be pretty tough.
